Manufacturing Heritage

Where JLR vehicles are actually built.

Solihull, in the West Midlands, is Land Rover's historic home and today builds the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery, and Defender.

Castle Bromwich, also in the West Midlands, has been a Jaguar manufacturing site since the 1980s.

Halewood, on Merseyside, builds the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Velar and has been earmarked for electric vehicle production as part of JLR's Reimagine strategy.

Gaydon, in Warwickshire, is JLR's engineering and design headquarters rather than a high-volume production plant.

Nitra, in Slovakia, is JLR's newest and most modern plant, opened in 2018, building Land Rover Discovery and Defender models for global markets.
