As covered on the About & Credits page, this site does not reproduce Jaguar Land Rover's copyrighted service manuals. What lives here instead is original, plain-language guidance written by and for owners — the kind of thing an experienced friend would tell you before you take a car to a specialist, not a replacement for the official manual or a qualified technician.

This section is meant to grow model by model as real guides get written and verified: what to check before a long off-road trip in a Defender, what aluminum-body Range Rovers need that steel-bodied cars didn't, common early warning signs worth not ignoring on an XJ or F-Type.

For anything safety-critical — brakes, steering, suspension, electrical work on high-voltage hybrid or electric models — always defer to your owner's handbook and a qualified technician. Nothing here is a substitute for that.
