Modern Era
From the F-Type to an all-electric relaunch.
The F-Type (2013) was Jaguar's first dedicated sports car since the XK series and was widely read as a spiritual successor to the E-Type. It was followed by Jaguar's move into SUVs — the F-Pace (2016) and smaller E-Pace (2017) — and by the I-Pace (2018), Jaguar's first all-electric production car.
In 2021 Jaguar Land Rover announced its 'Reimagine' strategy, committing Jaguar to become an all-electric brand. Jaguar subsequently paused sales of its existing combustion-engine lineup ahead of a planned relaunch built entirely around new electric models and a repositioned, more experimental design identity.
Because this transition is still unfolding at the time of writing, this page should be treated as a snapshot rather than a finished account — it's a natural page to keep updating as Jaguar's new-era lineup actually reaches customers.
